Comfort & construction

The 12-inch configuration is described as a medium-plush hybrid mattress with a quilted stretch-knit euro pillow-top cover for a softer initial feel; its surface layer is designed to enhance conforming comfort. The 12-inch foam comfort package includes a 1-inch gel memory foam layer positioned between two 1-inch layers of open-cell comfort foam. The construction uses an encapsulated steel coil base with individually responsive coils to add structure and responsiveness beneath the surface, and the independent coil response is intended to help limit motion transfer. Gel memory foam is positioned to offer pressure relief at common contact points such as the hips, shoulders, and lower back.
